No. The PPWR is an EU regulation that supersedes national law and significantly tightens its requirements. While VerpackG focused heavily on licensing, PPWR imposes substantial restrictions on physical product design (strict recycling classifications, mandatory recycled content quotas, 50% empty space cap). A new audit is mandatory.
A very clear no. The regulation applies to all packaging (sales, group, and transport packaging). A major pitfall of the PPWR: in the B2B sector, the final commercial recipient is often logically treated as an end consumer, triggering entirely new take-back and labeling obligations.
